Vinification
Grapes were harvested at early morning hours. These cold grapes had skin contact for 6 hours.
Whole berries were pumped into roto tanks. The grapes were pressed at 8 B. The wine was fermented
dry in the tanks.
Winemaker’s Comments
This blend is of good quality, uncomplicated and with an abundance of fruit flavours. The Cabernet
Sauvignon adds tannins and body to the pallet and makes this an outstanding blend while the Merlot adds
soft fruit flavours to the wine. It is a medium bodied wine and is excellent with lightly grilled meat, pastas
which are not too creamy and grilled lamb. It is made for early enjoyment and suitable for all occasions.
